Nonya Assam Curry Fish/Seafood
4 tbsp of Chilli Padi’s Seafood Curry Powder
100 gm Small Onions
6 Slices Fresh Ginger
20 gm Belacan
50 gm Dried Chilli
2 Cloves Garlic
20 gm Tamarind Paste
Fish / Seafood
200 gm Grated Coconut Milk

  1. Put 100gms small onions, 6 slices fresh ginger, 20gm belacan, 50gms dried chilli and 2 small garlic in a blender and blend till fine.
  2. Mix 20gms tamarind paste with 1 cup of water; mix 200gms grated coconut milk with 1-cup water squeeze to milk.
  3. Wash and cut the fish to your portions required. Season the fish with salt and 1tablespoon curry spices for 10 minutes.
  4. Heat pot with some oil, stir-fry the blended spices with 3 tablespoon of curry powder until fragrant. Then add in the assam water and bring to boil. When boiling add in the fisn and simmer for 15 minutes. Lastly add in the lady´s finger, brinjal and tomatoes. Add salt to taste and simmer fro another 5 - 10 minutes.
*(Coconut Milk can be substitute by fresh milk)
